 Ashwin crimping tool  HX 400 M  is a specialized hand tool used to create secure connections between electrical wires and connectors by deforming the metal connector around the stripped wire, effectively “crimping” it onto the conductor, thus establishing a strong, reliable bond without the need for soldering; commonly used in applications like wiring electrical systems for  power industry & HV Sub-station installations .  

Ashwin  HX 400 M Crimping is normally performed by first inserting the terminal into the crimp tool. The terminal must be placed into the appropriately sized crimp Die-set  barrel slot .  The wire is then inserted into the terminal with the end of the wire flush with the exit of the terminal to maximize cross-sectional contact. Finally, the handles of the crimp tool are used to compress and reshape the terminal until it is cold-welded onto the wire.
