 Ashwin crimping tool HT 5500 A – BT is a specialized hand tool used to create secure connections between electrical wires and connectors by deforming the metal connector around the stripped wire, effectively “crimping” it onto the conductor, thus establishing a strong, reliable bond without the need for soldering; commonly used in applications like wiring electrical systems for Automotive / Solar & Heavy Duty passenger & commercial vehicle manufacturing industry .Â
The crimper has a built-in ratchet mechanism that allows you to use one hand to operate the tool while the other hand holds onto the cable. It only takes one squeeze of the handle for each crimp and it will automatically stop when the crimp is complete. This saves you time and energy when installing electrical wires or other parts in your panel building or other equipments for electrical application .
Ashwin HT 5500 A – BT Crimping is normally performed by first inserting the terminal into the crimp tool. The terminal must be placed into the appropriately sized crimp barrel slot . The wire is then inserted into the terminal with the end of the wire flush with the exit of the terminal to maximize cross-sectional contact. Finally, the handles of the crimp tool are used to compress and reshape the terminal until it is cold-welded onto the wire.
The Tool is made special steel with wire cutting facility blade , processed with EDM jaws ,Â
Mechanical design best suited for these automotive Lugs with structure designed with 5 tight rivet joints for extra strength and precision crimping , giving proper pull-out force .Â
